




As part of the Keshen Goodman Public Library renovation, this was an opportunity to engage with the community and raise funds for the creation of a new ‘outdoor library.’ The campaign set out to normalize the idea of library fundraising and celebrate contributions that literally will help this new public space grow. Using the iconic ‘L’ from the Halifax Public Libraries logo, various plant species native to the new outdoor library are seen ‘growing’ out of the letter. In addition, other objects could be used on the ‘L’ depending on the nature of the message. The campaign was designed to be scalable and invites people to be a part of this initiative and contribute to a vibrant new public space in their community.
